Intralipid ^TM 10%
Fat Emulsion for intravenous use

Intralipid 10% :
1000 ml of the emulsion contains: Purified soybean oil 100 g, purified egg phospholipids, glycerol anhydrous, sodium hydroxide, water for injections.

pH: Approximately 8
Osmolarity: 260 mosm/L
Energy content: 4.6 MJ (1100 kcal) / 1000 ml
Organic phosphate content: 15 mmol / 1000 ml

Indications:
Indicated to supply calorie and essential fatty acid

Dosage and Administration :
1 gm triglycerides corresponds to 10 ml Intralipid 10%.
Contra-indications :
INTRALIPID is contraindicated in patients with acute shock and in patients with severe hyperlipemia. Severe liver insufficiency. Hemophagocytotic syndrome. Hypersensitivity to egg-, soya- or peanut protein or to any of the active substances or excipients.

Pregnancy and lactation:
No adverse reactions connected with pregnancy and lactation have been reported.

Hepatic & Renal Impairment : Intrilipid can be given to supply energy and EFA in patient with hepatic and renal impairment with precaution.

Special precautions for storage: Store below 25°C. Do not freeze.
